What I’m doing now
I’m building an agentic AI company for commercial construction, in partnership with Stackpoint. We work with general contractors on the documents that quietly decide a project’s fate: drawings, specs, and submittals. Rework driven by document misalignment costs U.S. construction more than $175B a year, and most of it is invisible until concrete is poured. That’s the problem I wake up for. The full story is in Why I’m Building Again.
Before this
I’m a multi-exit founder. Over the last 15 years I launched and scaled four companies across fintech, healthtech, proptech, and marketplaces, raised $60M+, and led organizations from zero to $200M in sales and 300 people. Most recently I was COO of Clearco, where I helped lead the turnaround. I’ve also invested in 50+ startups and advised more than 100 founders on scaling teams and operations.
The wins taught me less than the losses. I wrote openly about shutting down Home61 and about the handful of decisions that actually determine outcomes, and those lessons drive how I pick problems today: massive industry, painful and measurable problem, and a reason why now.
What this blog is
Better Everyday is where I think in public: building with agentic AI in construction, lessons from two decades of company building, and the occasional detour into books, tennis, and family. Start with Construction Tech or Entrepreneurship.
